About Tihub
One of the challenges for courier service companies is to be able to distribute a huge amount of parcels. T-hub is one of the achievements of Afraz Payaneh Fakher Iranian from Tipax sister companies in Fakher Holding, the design of which started in 2015 and was put into operation in 2018. This distribution center, in cooperation with the German Beumer Company, is one of the first mechanized and fully automatic hubs in Iran and the Middle East. The equipment of this hub has been set up using the latest technologies for sorting postal items. In 2018, This hub was set up and operated in an area with 6000 square meters and a capacity of 8000 parcels per hour.
The most important advantage of T-Hub design is that all processes from checking the origin, destination, or weighing and measuring the volume and sorting parcels is being done fully automatic and with minimal human intervention.
Millions of parcels daily through the transport companies such as FedeEx, UPs, GeoPost, Hermes and DHL are being transported which their sorting machine has been designed and built by Beumer.(sorry I did not get the general idea of Farsi version)
Despite the unique features of this system, which are acknowledged by visitors and those involved, there are many opportunities for further optimization in this field, which the company's IT team is upgrading and using. Managing shipping routes due to data mining traffic is one of several issues that can help improve the platform and reduce logistics costs.
